Garden Room is located in the original barn adjacent to the main
house. Built in 1812 of local Kexby yellow brick the building
has in recent years undergone extensive refurbishment and now
houses both the Garden Room and a separate single room. The barn
and cottage are conveniently located next to each other which
makes it ideal for larger family parties attending local functions
In one corner of the Garden Room is a delightful oak drinks and
kettle, microwave and mini-fridge. The room is always well stocked
with tea (Indian, Earl Grey & green), coffee and biscuits
- milk and bottled water are kept in the fridge and fruit is
Garden Room features a traditional iron-frame, king size bed
fitted with a hypoallergenic, orthopedic
to help you get a good night's sleep. The room itself is well-proportioned
being approximately 4m x 5m (13' x 16') and is carpeted throughout.
The Garden Room has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower,
toilet and wash hand basin - both rooms are centrally heated.
